Jackson Cassidy
Lazarus & Silvyn, P.C. has announced the addition of Jackson Cassidy to the firm’s Tucson office as a land use planner with specialized expertise in geographic information systems mapping and high-end graphic design. Cassidy recently earned his master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Arizona.
Cassidy is a native Arizonan and has lived in Tucson since 2015. He is a recent graduate of the UArizona’s Urban Planning Program, specializing in real estate and urban development. He has specialized expertise in GIS mapping and high-end graphic design.
As a student, he focused his studies on issues surrounding land use policy, public transportation and economic development. As a UArizona graduate research assistant, Cassidy supported a team collaborating with Salt River Project that used GIS and advanced geospatial analysis to investigate the relationship between urban development patterns and water consumption in the Phoenix Metro Area. He is a former planning intern for the City of Tucson Planning and Development Services Department and a former research assistant at Phoenix-based CCBG Architects, Inc.
Joining Lazarus & Silvyn, P.C. was the perfect opportunity for Cassidy to utilize and expand on his education and interests in urban land planning and translate complex land planning information into materials more easily understood by stakeholders and the general public.
