STEVE BORDEN
Steven Borden, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Raskob Kambourian Financial Advisors, Ltd. has become an equity partner in the employee-owned firm.
In discussing Borden’s role on the RK team, company co-founder Pat Raskob emphasized how his high-level experience in financial management assures the continuation of the firm’s 30-year legacy of service to clients and the Tucson community. “His productive career involved executive-level positions with the Bank of Marin and Northern Trust—responsible for all facets of wealth management, including trust, banking and investment management services. After retiring from Northern Trust he joined RK, where he oversees client relationships, SEC compliance, personnel, marketing, budgets, and community outreach. He is also a Trust Representative Officer with National Advisors Trust Co.”
Borden’s long history of community involvement includes Trustee roles with the Boy Scouts of America, Dominican University, and Catholic Charities/CYO Board of Trustees for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. His 38-year term on the Archdiocesan Board allowed him to chair numerous standing committees including Finance, Estate and Gift Planning, Endowment, and Fundraising. He also serves on the Foundation Board for TMC and the Catholic Diocese of Tucson, as well as the Corporate Board for Pima Council on Aging.
A graduate of University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Business Administration, Borden is also a Certified Senior Advisor and is preparing to receive his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
