Originally from Detroit, Grant Krueger moved to Tucson to attend UArizona and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. After graduation, he followed his entrepreneurial vision to San Carlos, Sonora Mexico, where he started various businesses including a pub, a self-storage complex, and a residential construction company.  

Krueger returned to Tucson in 2010 and founded Union Hospitality Group, which owns and operates Union Public House, Reforma Modern Mexican. Mezcal + Tequila, Proof Artisanal Pizza & Pasta and The Maverick King of Clubs. 

The restaurateur is on the board of directors for Rillito Park Foundation and Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and is a director of the Arizona Restaurant Association.

“I take a lot of pride in being able to see people in some of the happiest times of their lives: anniversaries, birthdays, parties, happy hours,” he said. “Going out to a restaurant is often the best part of everyone’s week and we want to give people extraordinary experiences.”
