Tucson McDonalds’ Owner Paul Dias Gives 400 Pairs of Sneakers to Local Kids
Tucson McDonald’s Owner/Operator Paul Dias continued his tradition of spreading holiday cheer with the second annual “McKicks for Kids” event, providing 400 pairs of sneakers to the local community.
Inspired by his passion for cool sneakers and bringing the community together, Dias has dedicated the entire year to gather these shoes for the giveaway, receiving valuable support from the University of Arizona.
Dias took the opportunity to celebrate the surprising statistic that 1 in 8 Americans have worked at a McDonald’s restaurant, honoring two managers, Gaylei Corona and Karina Limon, as official members of the “1 in 8,” with surprise, limited-edition McDonald’s varsity letterman jackets. “For the second year in a row, my crew and I are thrilled to extend a helping hand to our community and celebrate the holidays together through McKicks for Kids,” Dias said. “ I am also delighted to acknowledge the outstanding dedication and efforts of managers Gaylei Corona and Karina Limon, who consistently go above and beyond to ensure the happiness of both customers and crew members.”
