Community Food Bank Gets $53,343 Donation from RBC Wealth Management

A generous donation from RBC Wealth Management will help the Community Food Bank to continue its work feeding the hungry today and building a healthy, hunger-free tomorrow. 

RBC Wealth Management raised $53,343 by forming a team to walk in HungerWalk, the 

Community Food Bank’s signature event.   

“On behalf of the Tucson office of RBC Wealth Management, we are proud to support the Fighting Hunger Month campaign and the Community Food Bank, whose mission is to build a healthy, hungry-free community,” said Richard Schaefer, senior VP-branch director of RBC Wealth Management-Tucson.

“This funding from RBC Wealth Management allows us to continue to help families across Southern Arizona in the five counties we serve,” said Michael McDonald, CEO of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. “Working together is the only way we are going to end hunger. This donation from RBC is a great example of that. We are very grateful to RBC for this source of support.”  

RBC also held a food drive and collected more than 350 pounds of food.
