Alaska Airlines to Launch 2nd Tucson-Seattle Flights on Saturdays During Peak Season

Southern Arizonans will have another option to fly between Tucson International Airport and the
Pacific Northwest this winter with the addition of a second seasonal nonstop flight on peak
Saturdays on Alaska Airlines to Seattle.

“This is a popular route for both our Pacific Northwest customers looking for a little additional
sun and our Arizona customers who love the convenience of our 74 nonstop destinations out of
Seattle, and this will be a great additional option this winter,” said Ben Brookman, Alaska
Airlines’ manager of network planning.

The new flights, which will operate during peak periods from November 8 through March 7, are in
addition to Alaska’s daily nonstop service between Tucson and Seattle. Alaska also operates a daily
nonstop flight between Tucson and Portland, Ore., which began November 1, 2013.

Besides providing direct air links to Seattle and Portland, Alaska Airlines offers connections at
each city to airports throughout the Pacific Northwest and into Alaska, serving 74 destinations
nonstop from Seattle and 40 from Portland. Destinations include Anchorage, Bellingham, Bend-
Redmond, Boise, Eugene, Fairbanks, Great Falls, Kalispell, Medford, Missoula, Pasco-
Kennewick-Richland, Pullman, Spokane, Wenatchee, and Yakima.
