JA You’re Hired Challenge

At Pima Community College West Campus

JA You’re Hired is an innovative Junior Achievement® program for high school students that empowers young people to own their economic success. JA You’re Hired has two parts, beginning with a volunteer-led curriculum designed to build career readiness and skills valued in the global job market. Then, a group of students from each participating school attends the JA You’re Hired Challenge.

This year, the Junior Achievement® student event is expanding to Tucson and will be hosted March 10, 2017 at the Pima Community College West Campus. Here, students from around the area will participate in workshops and competitive sessions on networking, interviewing, leadership, ethics and more.

Over 96% of students and 100% of teachers agree that JA You’re Hired is an excellent and enjoyable educational experience that they would recommend to peers. But don’t take our word for it. Listen to Mary tell her story of career success as a result of the JA You’re Hired program.

This locally developed program received national recognition with a MetLife Foundation Award recognizing innovation and entrepreneurial programs.
