Angel Charity for Children Education Center at Children’s Museum Tucson to Open

Children’s Museum Tucson will officially open its Angel Charity for Children Education Center with a ribbon cutting on May 29. Nearly 100 invited guests will be in attendance to celebrate the completion of the Education Center at CMT’s Evelyn Carswell-Bing Building, 130 S. Scott Ave.

The Angel Charity for Children Education Center includes three new, colorful program rooms – The Sunset Room, The Mountain Room and The Rainbow Room – that expand the Museum’s ability to serve Tucson families by accommodating more field trips, camps, after-school programs and birthday parties. The building also includes a courtyard and event space. CMT administrative offices are relocating to the second floor of the building.

The Education Center was possible thanks to a $1 million Impact Grant from Angel Charity for Children, with support from Rio Nuevo, Tucson Foundations, Connie Hillman Family Foundation and dozens of generous donors.
