Pima County part of UA Science Geotourism Initiative launching new website
Pima County is part of a new effort inviting the public to share their photos of Southern Arizona’s natural beauty to help increase awareness and expand appreciation of the area’s unique and amazing biodiversity.
As a members of the UA Science Geotourism Initiative, Pima County, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the University of Arizona College of Science, UA Biosphere 2, UA Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter, Tucson Electric Power, Ventana Medical Systems and Visit Tucson are sponsors of a new community-sourced website, SeeTucson.org.
The Initiative invites photography enthusiasts to share their nature photographs of Tucson and Southern Arizona onSeeTucson.org by including the #seetucson hashtag when they post them on Instagram, a popular online photo- sharing app.
