SALC Welcomes Five New Members

The Southern Arizona Leadership Council (SALC) announced the addition of five new members in the first quarter of 2016. SALC members represent the largest employers and top professionals in the region, many of whom are influential community leaders.
The new members are:
CLEMENTS
Jack Clements, President, The Clements Agency
Jack Clements is president of The Clements Agency, a full service independent insurance agency he founded in 2000. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he earned a degree in accountancy, Jack is licensed as an insurance agent in more than 30 states. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Public Accountant, and also carries an Arizona real estate license.

HenschenMark Henschen, President and Publisher, Arizona Daily Star
Mark Henschen was named president and publisher of the Arizona Daily Star following his tenure as vice president of operations and circulation. Mark has received numerous industry awards, and in 2015, he was inducted to the National Circulation Director Hall of Fame. He has also been recognized as circulation sales executive of the year by the Newspaper Association of America. Mark holds an MBA and bachelor’s degree in marketing from Eastern Illinois University.


KraujaGeorge Krauja, Director, Fennemore Craig
George Krauja practices in the areas of commercial litigation and appeals. He is recognized by the Best Lawyers in America in the Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Litigation categories, and has a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating, the highest peer rating standard. George graduated first in his law school class from the University of Arizona.


MedcoffTim Medcoff, Managing Partner, Farhang & Medcoff
Tim Medcoff defends clients in the areas of product liability and insurance claims, as well as medical, commercial and labor/employment litigation. His active affiliations include the Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce, Therapeutic Riding of Tucson board member, Ronald McDonald House board member, and Southern Arizona Legal Aid volunteer. Tim graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona College of Law and holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating.

SarabiaMichael Sarabia, Principal, DESCO Southwest
Michael Sarabia has led the Tucson office of DESCO since 2001. He is responsible for site identification, contract negotiations, and coordination with numerous city and county agencies. Michael is a graduate of the University of Arizona, and is a member of the Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce, Desert Angels, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is also a CCIM candidate.
