Tucson Dentist Secures Spot on Coveted List of Leading Dental Professionals

Tucson can now count local dentist, Dr. Deron Davenport among the prestigious active members of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. This invitation-only membership of the leading practitioners, teachers, and researchers, with a special interest in restorative dentistry, is limited to only 165 active members.

“I am extremely honored to have been invited to join this respected organization,” said Dr. Davenport. “The membership will no doubt enhance and expand my abilities. I look forward to sharing what I learn to benefit our patients, as well as the Tucson community we serve.”

AARD members commit to the organization’s core values, which include ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, integrity, tolerance, and non-maleficence.

A fourth generation Tucsonan, Dr. Davenport has shared a practice with his father, Dr. David Davenport, since 2001. Davenport and Davenport Dental Practice is located at 2300 N. Craycroft Rd., Suite #3.

ABOUT Dr. Deron Davenport

Dr. Deron Davenport received a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Arizona, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Southern California. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Southern Arizona Dental Society. Dr. Davenport also served on the USC Mobile Clinic as a student staff member, providing dental care services for under-served children in California. He continues to be involved in his community by participating in the Centurions, the Open Wide Open Golf Tournament, and the Grayline Program of Tucson, which provides free dental care to underprivileged students. His practice focuses primarily on cosmetic, restorative, and family dentistry.
