LAURA NAGORE NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE AND OPERATIONS OF TUCSON METRO CHAMBER

The Tucson Metro Chamber is pleased to announce the promotion of Laura Nagore to the position of vice president of finance and operations. In her new role, Nagore is responsible for overseeing all financial and fiscal aspects of the Tucson Metro Chamber as well as the day-to-day facility operations. She also serves as the human resources manager.

“Laura has provided outstanding leadership and guidance in the Chamber’s financial and HR matters. She has been an integral part in strengthening the Chamber’s operations and team of employees. We are pleased to have her accept the position of vice president of finance and operations.” said Mike Varney, president and CEO of the Tucson Metro Chamber.

Nagore joined the Tucson Metro Chamber in August 2012 as the accounting and operations manager. Prior to joining the chamber, she served as the business office manager at Friendship Villas at La Cholla where she oversaw financial, day-to-day operations and HR matters. Nagore also previously worked at Commercial Building Maintenance Co. as their finance and HR manager and Modernair Distributors as their business office manager.

Nagore is a graduate of the 2014 Greater Tucson Leadership class. She serves on the board of directors and finance committee for Wingspan Tucson and is the board treasurer for the Tucson Center for Cultural Enrichment. Nagore is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) Tucson. She also volunteers her time teaching financial literacy and budgeting classes for Junior Achievement and other Tucson groups.
