Sarah Fries embraces the mantra, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

She has spent nearly two decades pursuing her mission to solve problems and help people through both her utility industry career and her deep community involvement. As customer data analytics supervisor at Southwest Gas, she leads with a people-first, inclusive approach to elevate customer experience and operational excellence.

In the community, Fries serves as secretary of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona Advocacy Board, earning 2024 Advocacy Board Member of the Year, and as an Ambassador for Tucson Young Professionals. Her community impact was recognized with the 2025 Southern Arizona Hispanic Chamber 40 Under 40 Award.
