For Tucson native and University of Arizona grad Shayla Sandoval, creativity—and career—couldn’t get more personal.

Shayla’s professional journey began as a young teen in her family’s business and was further shaped by an academic background in sociology and public management. Her professional philosophy prioritizes individual connection and “getting to know clients not just as business entities, but as people whose decisions have far-reaching impacts.” She puts that into practice creating awarding-winning campaigns for Casino Del Sol, Tucson Federal Credit Union, Nova Home Loans and other community stakeholders.

Sandoval carries the same principles into philanthropy and community leadership. She is past president of the El Rio Vecinos, where she led the annual Block Party and other fundraising efforts that have raised over $1 million for El Rio Health. Shayla also serves on the advisory board, women’s ministry, and welcome team for Redemption Tucson Church and Sunday School.
