Angel Charity Announces Three Local Nonprofits Selected to Receive $850,000 from 2014 Fundraising Campaign
Angel Charity for Children, Inc. announced it has selected Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, Aviva Children’s Services and El Grupo Youth Cycling as recipients for its 2014 fundraising campaign.
Angel Charity will launch fundraising efforts to raise a total of $850,000 this year to fund the following projects:
- Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, $500,000, towards construction of the “Angel’s Place for Girls.” Building.
- Aviva Children’s Services, $180,000, to help build an 11,000 sq. ft. Outdoor Visit Center.
- El Grupo Youth Cycling, $100,000, for two years of additional staffing support to provide quality mentoring programs for youths through cycling activities.
“Angel Charity’s mission is to help improve the lives of children in Pima County,” said Michelle Brown, Angel Charity’s 2014 General Chairman. “We look forward to partnering with our many generous donors in the Tucson community to support the important work of these three organizations.”
