Meredith K. Marder Named Top 100 Attorney

Meredith K. Marder has been selected as one of Arizona’s top 100 attorneys and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from America’s Top 100 Attorneys®, a firm that recognizes attorneys based on their overall legal careers and accomplishments.

Marder joined Farhang & Medcoff in 2014 and has also been named as a Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Star each year since 2014.

America’s Top 100 Attorneys® selects candidates for recognition through third-party research and peer nominations before putting their careers through a screening process with proprietary algorithms that assess a broad array of criteria and data. The award recognizes “exceptional advocacy, success, ethical standards and legal accomplishments.” The organization states, “Less than 0.5% of active attorneys in the United States receive this honor.”

Marder is a 2009 graduate cum laude from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. She practices in the areas of business/corporate law and commercial real estate, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. She advises business clients on issues including entity formation, private equity financing, joint ventures, corporate governance, contract negotiation, and the purchase and sale of businesses.  She also assists real estate clients with matters ranging from commercial leasing to multi-property acquisitions.

In 2009, she was awarded the Lillian S. Fisher Prize in Environmental Law and Public Policy from the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy for her article, The Battle to Save the Verde: How Arizona’s Water Law Could Destroy One of its Last Free-Flowing Rivers.
