Lovitt & Touché Hires Matthew Nelson
Lovitt & Touché is proud to announce Matthew Nelson as Vice President, Sales Executive in Tucson. He will consult with companies to identify and implement insurance and employee benefits solutions tailored to their needs, culture and operations. His primary focus will be in the construction, healthcare and human resources industries.
Matt has more than a decade of experience in employee benefits. He has consulted with several brokerages and their respective clients on numerous business issues including benefits, marketing and healthcare reform.
Matt is a member of the Financial Executives and Affiliates of Tucson, the National Association of Insurance Financial Advisors and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). He currently serves as the Professional Development chair for NAHU in Southern Arizona, and he previously served on the executive board and as the Legislative and Media Relations chairs. Further, he has served as a keynote speaker on healthcare reform for professional organizations throughout Southern Arizona, including the Financial Executives and Affiliates of Tucson, and the CEO Roundtable of Tucson.
Matt has a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University, and is completing his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Matt is an active member in the Tucson community, serving as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Arizona Army National Guard and volunteering with local charitable organizations including Southern Arizona Junior Achievement, United Way and Habitat for Humanity.
