Long Realty Announces Record-Breaking $8.64 Million Home Sale
Long Realty Company has announced the record-breaking sale of 3569 E. Secret Canyon Place for $8,640,000, setting a new for a residential home sale in the Tucson area.
Located within The Canyons, a private, guard-gated community in north Tucson, the recently completed estate was listed by Anthony Schaefer with Long Realty. Built in 2024, the resident encompasses 8,292 square feet on 5.04 acres, with five bedrooms and 6.5 baths.
The $8.64 million transaction surpasses the previous Tucson area residential sales record of $8.5 million, which closed April 25, 2024. It also becomes the seventh Tucson-area home to sell for more than $5 million, marking another milestone for the region’s luxury residential market.
“This is an extraordinary property, and the sale reflects the level of luxury, architecture and privacy that Tucson is increasingly recognized for,” said Schaefer, a listing agent in the River Campbell office. “The setting in The Canyons, the acreage, the views and the quality of the home made this a truly exceptional offering. It was a privilege to represent a property of this caliber and help achieve a result that sets a new benchmark for our market.”
The record-breaking transaction further reinforces Long Realty’s position as a leader in Tucson’s luxury real estate market, selling 4x more luxury real estate than the nearest competitor. In 2025, Long Realty represented a 38.1% market share of residential sales priced at more than $1 million, with $704,890,519 in luxury sales volume.
The company’s performance reflects its longstanding presence in the region and its depth of experience serving buyers and sellers in the upper end of the residential market.
The record sale comes as Tucson continues to attract attention from luxury buyers seeking privacy, distinctive architecture, expansive home sites and the lifestyle offered by Southern Arizona.
“A sale of this magnitude is an exciting moment not only for Long Realty, but for Tucson,” said Kevin Kaplan, CEO of Long Companies. “It demonstrates the strength and evolution of our luxury market and shows that Tucson can compete at an increasingly sophisticated level for high-end residential real estate. Anthony’s expertise, market knowledge and commitment to his clients were instrumental in bringing this remarkable transaction to a successful close.”
For Long Realty, the sale carries additional significance during the company’s centennial year. Founded in Tucson in 1926, Long Realty has been helping generations of Arizonans buy and sell real estate while growing alongside the communities it has served for 100 years.
