Loews Ventana Canyon Resort Shares Iconic Prickly Pear Margarita Recipe

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is sharing its iconic cocktail, Prickly Pear Margarita to give a little taste of the southwest for those dreaming of a getaway. “Getaways in a Glass” is a new Loews Hotels brand-wide offering featuring signature cocktail recipes from properties around the country that can be recreated at home. Each recipe is handcrafted locally, with a subtle nod to its destination.

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort’s special “Getaway in a Glass” cocktail is the Prickly Pear Margarita. 

1 ¼ oz. Herradura Silver Tequila

½ oz. triple sec 

½ oz. lime juice

½ oz. prickly pear syrup

Add all ingredients to shaker and shake with ice. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with lime zest and fresh lime. Enjoy.
