The 22 Annual International Holiday Bazaar, featuring items from fair trade and socially conscious non-profit groups, will be held Sat. Dec. 5 and Sun. Dec. 6 at Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church.
The Bazaar will be open Saturday, Dec. 5, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. St. Michael’s is located at 602 N. Wilmot Road, at the intersection of East 5th Street & North Wilmot Road.
This is an opportunity to shop for unusual holiday gifts while helping over 25 nonprofit organizations.
The 22nd Annual International Holiday Bazaar is one of the only places in Southern Arizona to find fair trade items from 10,000 Villages. Included in the 25 participating organizations is the Zambian Children's Fund, which will have African handmade items including jewelry and bags. Their proceeds will aid 150 orphan children.
Additionally, The Sisters of Saint Frances, a 150 year old community that ministers in the US and Brazil, will be selling their hand made soaps, stitchery, quilts and table runners.
